Both very good shots.

A couple of Jim Beam decanters. Both are at least 40 years old. While not all that old, both decanters are in perfect condition. And as far as the pheasant decanter goes, that's saying a lot. All the one's I've seen, either the tail or the beak are broken off. Enjoy.

btw I used the 18-140mm for this. A fine lens.

So I was playing with an 85mm f/2 on a tc-14aand was about 5-6 ft away when she came. She's now used to me and the Big D. So I got this .

my very first images taken with my new (second hand) D7100 - luckily I caught my daughter on a good day when she was happy to pose. As you can see they were very impromptu with no thought to the background and totally sooc :) I'm absolutely loving the camera whether it's shooting sport or landscapes.

Now this was a bit of a failure. I was taking a diagonal photo but when viewed it looks like she is lying down when she is in fact standing.
oh well I still kinda like it...

Literally first shot 'out of the box' using the 50mm f1.8G. Just picked up the D7100 at a fantastic price. That's Mylo, who loves playing around with his orange ball.
