Nikon single lens reflex camera, SN-FE 3259712, 35 mm f 2.8 wide-angle lens, 135 mm f 2.8 telephoto lens, shoe-mount variable range and adjustable light strobe. I was more interested in the lenses then the camera. Should be fun to monkey around with. For the price I paid I can't complain!

Picked myself up another Ravelli 10' air-cushioned light stand and Fotga hot-shoe holder. Also threw in these ...

24x36 softbox

43" 5-in-1 reflectors

Neewer reflector boom arm

Light stand sandbags

Now I have to step up to the plate and get a few models for test shoots.

That was a pretty good deal - your first film camera?

Well my Kirk L bracket arrived for my D800E! But I must admit I am disappointed with it! This bracket has a lack of ridgitity in it close to being the same as the cheap brand L bracket I already had!
Well in the future I will skip Kirk brand stuff, and likely look for Really Right Stuff brand gear instead! The RRS brand L bracket on my D700 seems much better as far as ridgitity goes!

Now I just need to find some kind of secure ring for the hole to attach the Black Rapid carabiner to.

I got a new Polaroid compact tripod - $30 - from Amazon. I thought it was going to be the same height as my old Vivitar, but it's considerably shorter - and longer when collapsed. But it is also thinner. In my view, it still qualifies as an excellent travel tripod. This Polaroid is 42", and my Vivitar is 51". I didn't measure the Vivitar before I ordered this, and it looks the same so I thought it was the same thing.

I shot a video to show how sturdy it is:

No, it's not a MeFoto Deluxe Super Duty Gale Force, but for something that fits in a pocket, or a camera bag, it does the job. It also came with a travel bag.

I'm still in the market for another Vivitar, since I haven't found the exact same thing yet.

Guess that means ya liked the Ravelli... :) Adding it to my list of things for the near future, as the price on those is VERY conducive to "near future".

I was pretty impressed with the build quality and the sturdiness seems super solid. I've had it inside and outside with its performance thus far being superb. (Granted it VERY limited on time used) Time will tell how they hold up. Speed light in umbrella combo for the speed light soft box combo, it took you consider amount of effort to try to push the stand over. With the addition of sandbags they should hold up outside just fine. My only dislike is the overall length when collapsed. 46" is FAR from being compact. That said, the carrying case they come with is pretty darn heavy duty. But if you're wanting to add these two other items in a larger carry case with lighting and so forth, it's going to be hard to find a case that fits them easily.
