Today's Experiment

Since I get to post just one photo per day this is today's shot. It's the granddaughter of one of my McDonald's coffe clutch, Dianne. The little girl's name is Faith and she is 10 years old. She's cute as a button and not camera shy. Her grandma was sitting right next to her out of frame.

Great shot Bob. No wonder this lens is famous for it's rendition of skin tone and sharpness. It really seems to bring the picture alive. It's on my wish list but I'll wait till after I get to play with the D800 next monday to see what bargain I can do with my local dealer...

After seeing what this lens can do I'm chomping at the bit for the arrival of my D800. My D7000 is no slouch in its own right but the D800 should be exponentially better at full frame and at 36.3 megapixels.

She's adorable Bob. A real cutie pie for sure! She loves the camera and the camera sure loves her right back! :)

Since I get to post just one photo per day....

Not true Bob....just one photo/per day in the Photo Critique forum. Post all you like in your gallery or blog and perhaps a series of photos or so in the general photography forum. :)

There is a slider on the left of the screen shot , my guess is it's in there. I was able to see it (24-70, shot at 62mm) using kuso.

I did not include enough of the exif to post that. It's Nikon's 24-70 F/2.8 FX

EXIF Viewer in FF.

Dunno who "he" is,...

That would be you Don! :) Please...no offense intended.

...but I looked at the Exif data and it didn't make to the Mac Preview side of the equation.

I'm just saying that using the FireFox broswer, there is a plug-in called "FxIF data" that allows you to see (if available in the image file) all the pertinent EXIF information - which is where I copied and pasted it from in my post above. Here is what it looks like when in use:

The background is a little under exposed but this could be intentional or just a result of using natural light. The only thing I can say is that maybe the shutter speed was too quick? Bob can you advise us if you planned it that way?

BTW, I LOVE my 24-70mm, it is my everyday lens.
