Talk To Me About: Straps

Mine doesn't say yeti on it, but it is black rapid harness that can be used for a double carry, or appart it is a single shoulder strap! I also bought the tethers for it too, for saftey! Lol :)
But I have yet to try it all out other than getting it adjusted to fit! I'm curious if mine is an older model before calling it a yeti, or if mine just isn't marked on the straps? Lol :)

Anyway congrats on the yeti my friend, and I hope you'll love it! :)

Thanks for all the feedback and suggestions!

I picked up a Yeti when I was in the shop picking up another seamless background, so I'll give it some attention and see how it suits me. I did pick up the tether kit along with it, so I have that need covered ... now I'm just working through how to keep both the tripod bracket and hook connected so that I don't have to keep unscrewing different attachments as I go back and forth.

Does yours cover one shoulder or two? Looks like the Yeti hangs just on the left shoulder, where the double hangs on both. I still need to try mine on with a camera ... got it Monday and then was back on the road Tuesday.

Mine goes on two shoulders, and can be parted to two sport like singles. I also have the BR Sport, so no need to take the double appart. Lol :)

In that case, I think you have the double and not a Yeti. The Yeti would cover you like so:

What I like is that the one side can be detached from the shoulder pad making this identical to the Sport ... or I can keep the second sling and support two bodies.

Yes that is just my sport with a long under arm strap and a extra mount! Lol well sorta anyway! Lol but if your healthy with low pain then that does look very handy!
My double spreads out the weight, so my pain issues are relieved a bit. So I'll have to skip the yeti I think, though it does look good!
Way to go buddy! :)

PS. Thanks for the info Charlie! :D

PS. Watch out for leaning when using your right hand camera, or your strap can come off your shoulder and the left hand camera hits the ground. :(
