mike what does the 258mm focal length = too, is it the same as the distance on our lens or is there a factor?

The crop factor is something like 5.6 making it some thing like 1400mm but it all gets a bit silly with the results as they dont seam to give you such a large image.

Took the loan 120-400 back and now have a loan sigma 50-500,tried it on the V2 and it works,hand held 500mm @ 100th of a second.
