Oh man.

Several years ago, before we were married, my now-wife and I were traveling in the motorhome we had at the time. I was driving, she was playing a game on her iPad or something. I look up, and off in the distance, going the other direction on the interstate, is a giant fiberglass cow. (That one happened to be for the Uddlerly Smooth cream.) I said, "Cow... cow... cow!" And she didn't look up until the cow had passed! I don't think she believed me.

Then, strangely, a few weeks later, we saw a Turkey Hill one, and I said... "Cow... cow... cow!" and she did look up that time. Then, a few weeks after that we saw another one in Florida.

Now, every time we see one (which is almost always a Turkey Hill cow, since we hang around Pennsylvania a lot), I say, "Cow... cow... cow!" Such as this one, lurking at an outdoor hockey game in Hershey, Pennsylvania (with my favorite flavor, too):

There's also a giant cow outside the Turkey Hill Experience in Lancaster, PA. I have pictures, but not online.

Lol! Yes, The cow is Turkey Hill's mascot! When I went to college (near Hershey, PA), there were Turkey Hill convenience stores in the area. They are similar to WAWA and 7-11. One day one of the fraternities decided to pull a prank and stole a cow. It was tethered to the tree in the quad. Here is a photo from the online yearbook:

Indeed I am! I work at the Dahlgren scales on Rt 301, 1 mile south of the Harry Nice / Potomac River Bridge in to SoMD.

LOL. I used to roll through those scales a lot when I worked for Averitt Express and BIR Transport. Used to run up 301 to get around DC traffic.
I drive local now here in TN. No more OTR headaches.

Alright, now the cat's out of the bag and I will ask the eternal question: is it a dog fighting a lobster with a spoon or is it a dog fighting a lobster with a spoon ? I love English. So precise when you want it to be, so cosmic when you don't...

Yes, it is
