here is a quick edit of something that i have in mind, i never knew i captured so many shooting stars in one frame. Only actually saw one with my naked eye.

Is your shooting star a satellite perhaps? One of my fave camping evening past times is laying back and looking for satellites. Saw 18 one evening ..... see more of them early after sunset and some even just before sunset.

I hate camping in that heat but I'd be glad to go at any temp ATM. Been over 5yrs since I last went camping

Second shot for me on the 2 edits. I'm not hugely into star trails so I like the pinpoint stars better That old cog makes a great foreground interest

There is a satellite in one, but in another there are up to 4 or 5 shooting stars. Doesn't show well at low res though.
