There was a fine snow falling, and it was very windy, so the photos aren't as clear as I would like, but, that is nature at it's best, you get what you get

Thanks, and yes, these are ice sculptures that I came across downtown Calgary. I don't get to the city often, but I found them so fun.
Thanks, I have a lot of house plants in the windows of my dining room. Some of them are getting so big, I will need help to repot them, some are very prickly too!
I seriously thought about calling on you Jack! If My time wasn't taken up by my stepdaughter, lol, you know, shopping, I would have loved to have gotten together! Maybe next time.You came to Calgary and didn't cal? tsk tsk tsk!

All the other geese swam away, this one didn't appear to want to get wet! lol He just stayed put.

You know if you have geese up there right now...and I have them down here right now (and I do...about 20 of them suckers down at the pond) then the frigging Canadian Geese are taking over the whole continent year round! Strange times we live in...
The geese and swans have not left this area this year, I don't know if I just never noticed before because I never had a camera last year, or if I just took it for granted that they went south. Very strange times we live in,they are here and there, and apparently every where else as well.
