Possibly for a few weeks, decided to let Tamron have another go at my lens as soon as the dealer has something decent in secondhand to lend me,if nothing nikon comes in but a canon fit does he will lend me a camera to go with it.

I thought this was another ridiculous complaint against Nikon and are moving to Canon. Sorta like " my ford's brakes are bad again. I'm sick of this. I'm buying a Chevy". As though no one else has issues.

When you're shooting Canon, can you verify if it's true they still burn magnesium powder as flash?

HOw can you verify that, their system is so advanced that they recycle the burned magnesium oxide by de-oxidizing it. You dont even notice. Actually it is a much more advanced and powerful system than nikon. Everlasting.

If you do get the cannon for a few weeks, you will have to compare it with your Nikon and let us know what your thoughts are.
