Stopped by the Military Working Dog National Memorial here at Lackland AFB TX. Was just looking to get your standard tourist shots when I saw the shadows against the granite wall. Had to lay down between the statues and the wall so not to get my shadow in there also.

Thank you, @mikew. The train was leaving town, which has no warning lights on the crossings, engineer was only traveling about 7-10 MPH, for safety's sake. As I was waiting for the approach, and setting my camera, several vehicles crossed the tracks.....all looking at *me*, and not the oncoming train! Oh, boy.

Experimenting with HDR and Black and White. (Cross posted in HDR)
Started with 3 bracketed raw files, edited in ACR. Saved as jpegs and used Photomatix. Pulled hair out trying to figure out how to get rid of halos and get texture, shadows, and lighting good for eventual BW image. Opened in PS to clean up. Saved finished color image in jpeg and opened in Nik Silver Efex.
