One more review posted at Review of the Neewer VK750 II Speedlight
This is the Neewer VK750 II speedlight. $56 seems an amazing price for such a lot of flash. A few less dollars than a Yongnuo YN560-II, but it does TTL too. And very well at that. I was surprised how often it seemed to get it right. About 150 very positive user comments at Amazon.
This one does not have the features of HSS or Remote operation with the commander, but many cameras don't have a commander anyway. Its missing a few basics like beeps, but it does TTL, Manual, and Slave, very well.
It zooms 18-180 mm, however 18 mm is for DX, FX better stay at 24mm. Neewer dealers are offering six months warranty, and Amazon does easy initial returns too.
Anyone put off about getting into flash due to the prices, ought to check this one out. Easy menus, easy to use, just seems to work. Seems just right for beginners to get their feet wet on.
