I see someone else (who just so happens to be a good photographer hisself) made comment on the pastel colours.

As always Pete - no disappointments here. That deck shot is a classic example of how you somehow makes things work fighting against, but at the same time incorporating, the rule of thirds.

What is your wife's best dish:
In your opinion?
And in hers?

I love her Chicken paprikash. She learned it from her Mom and it was handed down from the generations.

Day #27.

HDR.
This particular truck was flipped over in a tornado a few years ago in Georgia. I wasn't working here then, but I know the driver and he still works here.
He just pulled off the Interstate to stop in a truck stop for some refreshments, when a tornado picked him up and took him and the truck for a ride.
Picked the truck and trailer (trailer was empty and light) up and took it for about a 50 foot ride and landed it on it's side.
The truckstop was pretty much destroyed as well.
The driver came out of it with some scratches and bruises, plus a soiled underwear that needed to be changed. LOL:)

I know a few neighborhoods in LA where that can happen just as quickly without a breath of wind, though they generally take the tires, too.

I have no idea what this is, I just liked the gate and the sign.

BTW, could someone tell me if this shot is level? If I move the left side up then the utility pole will look crooked, if I move the right side up the road won't look level.

It's very close to what I think is level! Maybe go very slightly higher on the right, but I think it's pretty close already buddy! :)

I LR crop to level the top of the gate and Lens Correction to straighten pole. This leaves the right hand post of the gat a bit off which I am pretty sure can be fixed in PS.
