This is what you get when your using a borrowed lens,started taking as soon as they came into view,by the time i had found the zoom ring they where gone,it happened a few times today,but i think i have my first Poachards in flight.

I do understand that point of view, but over time I'm starting to actually like showing the birds in urban settings.
Its just a fact that they have to deal with us , and what we do to the environment, so I like seeing them learning to adapt and fit in.
Nature shown here not as some remote circumstance , but rather, the way life is now. It makes them less remote.
Power lines arent all that pretty , but the background there seems just fine to me.

With all that ISO testing I almost forgot I shot some birds too.

Not my best shot but I was already glad I got him. Looks more like something that escaped from Jurassic Park.
