Macro Mysteries to Solve

I'll leave that one to be pondered for a bit.

Here is another and it's a bit different. A near 1:1 shot of sunlight reflecting off of something. What is the something?

A prism? Those aren't frosty though...

Not a prism. It is reflection from a flat surface. Note the surface is flat from our perspective, but obvious there is some variation by the way the light is refracted.

And this is totally unrelated to the image in post #107. That one is still unsolved.

#107 - marzipan?

#122 - reflecting off a water droplet? ** Drat, just noticed you said a 'flat' surface!

#107 - Marzipan is closest yet. Being that specific I can't call it because there's no almond meal in it. Should I reveal or give it a bit more ponder time??

#122 - It is a very, very common item. Likely you have one within reach.

#107 is a mint. Altoid to be precise. Could have almost maybe say it was solved with the sugar guess because sugar is the first ingredient, but then not exactly.

Here's two more shots of the same object reflecting the same sunlight at different angles and maybe a bit further away that #122.

Come to think of it, people don't use these as much as they did 10 years ago, and don't think anybody used them 20 years ago, but when they were used, they were usually within reach.
