American Airlines Boeing 727 (I think) at Chicago, IL O'Hare Field in 1970. I love the old orange lightning bolt scheme. From a Kodachrome taken by my Dad.

Coningsby eh? wouldn't mind a jolly jaunt down there myself. Yeah, the Lightnings right up there for me too, especially the F6 variant. If you've not been, you ought to go to Brunty on taxiing days, with the Lightnings et al. it'll blow your ears off though!

I love Brunty, not just your ears but all your internal organs as well! Thinking CGY next Wednesday if weather is good.

PM me next time your free, we'll have to have a ride out. 2015 Typhoon display pilot going through his work up at the moment and BBMF I'm guessing next month. The Reds are also busy at Scampton at the moment, but guessing you knew most of that ☺️

@jaydean the day was very slow to start off but got busier mid afternoon with a lot of activity as I was leaving because it was getting dark. I'll E mail you again when we have another day off together. @RockyNH thanks Pat
