Went out photo walking today for the first time after my eye surgery. Took th 55mm Ais just to see what I could do.



I love this old lens. This last shot at dusk in an enclosed courtyard and still at only ISO 400
So I feel the eye is coming along but will still take several more weeks to heal.

. Yes., the owner of a popular restaurant lives there. Large houses are similar to boats, only they are a hole in the ground that you pour money into.

Mostly recovered from my eye surgery so i was anxious to take a photo trip but it was cold and rainy at my destination; so you just have to take cold and rainy day landscapes.
and a shot of the Cheat River
and a group of trees that caught my eye. there is no place like West Virginia for fall colors

Went to georgia to see relatives and i just had to see this waterfall, Amicalola Falls.

On the way home I had to stop on the Blue Ridge Parkway to photograph one of my favorite places, Mabry Mill.

and stooped at Falling Springs Falls to get a winter shot. I now have this waterfall in all four seasons..

Thanks, Mabry Mill is picturesque in any season. Lucky to get the shot. Was forced off the Blue Ridge by ice and snow 5 miles North of mill. Also could not get the ducks to look up while i was shooting. They were too busy feeding to pose for pictures.

All right, I am little stressed about signing up for the 52 in 15 series so I took me off to the mall where I ended up in one of my favorite places. I might not complete the series but you can bet that I will be stopping here once a wek for their hot chocolate.

I like the version in your 52 thread better as well. Sometimes I take a shot and think it's going to be the greatest thing since chocolate ice cream, then when I get home and open it in LR it's like "what happened to the picture I took?" LOL

What is worse than that is getting home and finding you are out of ice cream.
