eNice. Do I detect a touch of natural edge or is that just extra spalted?? Hard to tell from this angle.
You do Marilynne. Natural edge but without the bark.

Sometimes' late at night, I am overcome with flights of fancy and old remembered verse comes back to me
"And much as Wine has play'd the Infidel'
And robb'd me of my Robe of Honour--Well'
I wonder often why the Vintners buy
One half so precious as the stuff they sell"View attachment 110189
. Yes., the owner of a popular restaurant lives there. Large houses are similar to boats, only they are a hole in the ground that you pour money into.Looks like he does a great job maintaining. Is it a private home?
Thanks, Mabry Mill is picturesque in any season. Lucky to get the shot. Was forced off the Blue Ridge by ice and snow 5 miles North of mill. Also could not get the ducks to look up while i was shooting. They were too busy feeding to pose for pictures.Nice set but i love the mill
As promised, the color version of my 52 in 15 post.View attachment 132262
I find this mundane.
What is worse than that is getting home and finding you are out of ice cream.I like the version in your 52 thread better as well. Sometimes I take a shot and think it's going to be the greatest thing since chocolate ice cream, then when I get home and open it in LR it's like "what happened to the picture I took?" LOL
