Impressed at how sharp that lens is at 600 mm. At this rate, you are going to wear it out.

I am astonished at what I am getting even from rushed shots. As to wearing it out, my neighbor saw mine and bought one for himself; if mine gets cranky, I can do a quick swap out -- he'll never notice.

This heron has eluded me for months now, spotted it twice in 4 months, so today I was in luck,
At 1st I thought it was a decoy, as it was just stood there and not moving.

Then I move around slowly to try and get a better picture, got to close and it flew off, but then landed 50 yards away.
Time and patience paid off

This heron has eluded me for months now, spotted it twice in 4 months, so today I was in luck,

Interesting color comparison to our version, I think I like yours better.
