Day 346/365 A Dreary Day, 600 miles from the ocean, I found a typical sea scene. How can we get better colors when this weather is so gloomy?

Day 346/365 Winter Birds, These are not leaves in the winter tree, there are over a hundred birds perched in the tree in back of my house. There were more birds in the other trees around my house. There must have been thousands of birds trying to find refuge on this dreary winter day.

Day 346/365 Autumn in the Winter. This shot is of the place where my beautiful flowers flourished this summer. Now the only color is some of the autumn leaves. We usually have lots of snow this time of year, but we have only had sprinkles of snow that melted quickly. However, I am certainly enjoying the warm weather instead of the snow, it was 65° F today :)

Thanks Marilynne, I am truly amazed that the temperature here was the same as yours. This is a once in a lifetime phenomenon. I even spoke with my friend in New Zealand, where it is summer. They are about the same temperature also. Strange weather!!!

Day 347/365 I know that it is 12-13-14 today. In Utah it is supposed to be the dead of winter, but this shot sure looks like late spring to me.
