Here's a few shots from a set I took in York yesterday. These students were doing readings from World War I diaries as part of the marking of the war's 100th anniversary. These are pretty much SOOC, with just a bit of sharpening and white balance adjustment.
Once I get the full set processed, I will send them to the school.

I am heading over to Chester (Where my wife was born) & North Wales for the rest of the week, so I will post as and when I can. Hopefully the weather will be kind and we get to visit Chester Zoo, one of Europe's biggest zoos... That will be a good with the 70-200!

Nice catch up Steve!
Been a while since I posted here - Busy time shooting a nativity which was great fun, but I have time to process the shots from our recent trip.
From Chester Zoo, here is a fruit bat - I can't think of anything more difficult to photograph... Near enough total darkness, a faint red lamp, and so humid I had to wipe the lens between every shot!

Another Fruit bat - This is from another part of the "Fruit bat Forest" display, with a dimly lit backdrop that just silhouettes them nicely. I think this was my favourite part of the Zoo, its a dark building with all the bats flying around your head and a cave you can walk through with them zooming around.
