That was a good one. It was totally recognizable once revealed, but the blow-up just plays with the mind. I kept thinking it looked like an old phone receiver.

When I first looked at it I wasn't to sure if that's what it was. Another thread confirmed it though

Good guess. Object not as common as a placemat, but could be used to protect something from spills.
