It's hard to track at 600mm. Have to find them 150mm, then zoom out. I'll get the hang of it. Hand held, BTW.

On my Sigma 150-500 I don't use the ring I just grab the lens hood and barrel and just use it a a push pull not sure if the Tamron works the same but makes it faster for me anyway

Thanks Pat. EXIF gone because I made a copy and removed some spots. Guess it removed more than spots.

That looks pretty darn nice to me, but I know what you mean about the compressed downsized look not doing justice to the pic.
My color tones look 'off' and details look soft. Ive given up trying to figure out how to correct for it.
