Well, I took this pic a little after midnight, but as far as I'm concerned, my day doesn't end until I go to bed, and on this day I did not go to bed until 1:00 AM, so although the exif data will show 10/22, I'm counting it as my photo for 10/21 . . . besides, it was still 10/21 somewhere in the world LOL

Just a little bit too close . . . testing a new lens
I don't think you were too close, I think the camera misread your focus intention and did focus on the windows behind the glass. The wide should be able to focus to the distance the glass seems to be. But it's just MHO.
