I much prefer the crystal ball on a natural surface like those rocks than on it's little stand. That's a really lovely shot Wendy

Thanks Vixen, I totally agree with you about the natural surfaces. I am going to find a rock that I can use for a stand. When I got that shot, I knew that it was a good one.

Thanks weebee, I have been wanting to do something like this for quite a while, and I finally got around to getting it done. I imagine that I will be using my Crystal Ball in natural places more in the future.

Thanks Marilynne, I really like what I can do with the Crystal Ball. I will try to use it more often in nature shots. I like the way the ball creates sort of a panorama so that you can see more of the environment in the reflection, although it is upside down.

I love the idea of the crystal ball outside Wendy! My favourite is the last one, as the horizon is in the ball, but not the main scene.

The ball looks like it would be heavy to cart around though?

Thanks Steve, It is kinds of clumsy to carry around, it is kind of heavy, and it is very fragile.
