So......I went whale watching a month or so ago and did LOT of water watching. Very disappointing. So when a friend asked if I'd like to join her with another whale watch cruise I was quite keen as the whales are still on their annual migration.
We saw HEAPS of whales, and they did lots of tail slapping and fin waving and about 12 breaches. I took my D80 with my Tamron 18-270mm and my D7100 with my Tamron 150-600. I used the D7100 mostly. It was great.

No. Not permanent Ron. Some (if not all) of the pieces are for sale but as you can imagine not cheap. I think the horse was $200,000. It's a yearly festival and the art pieces are different each year. There are about 50 different pieces, some to me not worth a photo, the really good ones almost impossible to get a shot of for the crowds around them.
