User Preset in Lightroom 5

I am creating a User Preset to apply to all my Raw files which would include some contrast, vibrance, sharpening, etc. Is is advisable to include a lens profile and remove chromatic aberration with those or should these be done on a picture to picture basis in the Develop module??

The only preset that I apply to all my NEF files at import is CA and profile corrections, (distortion) and level.

Everything else I do on an image by image basis.

Like Blacktop, I only apply lens and CA as a default. Everything else, for me at least, is light dependent and not something I want to default. Now, were I shooting in a consistent, studio lit environment, I'd add a camera profile to it.

Thanks Black Top and Jake, That is helpful. I do find that most of my raw pictures need a little contrast and vibrance (about 10 on each) so I will add those to CA and Lens Profile and safe some time. Those few pictures I think are too contrasty or vibrant I can dial it down.

The more you use LR the more you will develop your own workflow that works the best for you.
At first I was just stumbling around in there going crazy with clarity sliders and sharpening tools and masking stuff and all that good stuff.
The more experience I have with it, the more I'm finding out that less is more.
Now I am more prone to tone one thing down to bring something else out.

I guess it is about what one deems a nice photo. Since I am more of a techy than an artist, mostly I aim for a good photo, not necessarily an artistic one. I find that most of my Raw pictures need a little contrast and vibrance at least at this stage of my photo experience. Who knows over time. I can tell you one thing, I don't need to do as much in lightroom now as much as I used to.

I have set the Preset up and will try it out after my upcoming vacation to a beach house (lots of sunrise and sunset pics!!) which starts today!!!!!
