Lol first I'll have to somehow get that great shot, and this being my first try at shooting birds! Lol But since I really like your idea, I'll likely do that when I manage getting a great shot. I'm trying to think positive. Lol :D

Thanks buddy for the good idea my friend! :D
I have faith in you getting that great shot my friend. :encouragement:

Well I just sent in a photo for a sorta test print, to see how it comes out, since I've never printed a photo before.
I bought the metallic double thick 8×10. I'm getting a good idea why photos can cost so much printed to buy from other photographers. Their time and efforts and then the cost of printing and mounting. Man that would add up in a hurry, if the photographer wants to make a decent profit.

But for my needs I'm thinking it will be fine, as long as I don't print too many or very often. The photo size I had to work with wasn't very good, so print needed to be fairly small, but it was never meant to be printed when I made it. I'll keep printing in mind when doing my beloved's bird for sure, since I want it to be special for her. :D

Thanks again Pete for the great idea buddy! :D

The print I'm testing is a version of this shot. :)

Well here is a new update. Though things have been going well on my fight against nicotine. My love is back in the hospital, with a possible infection. I'm praying that she will be sent back to Trinity place within 2 days, or she may lose her private room. I don't think the hospital visit is super serious this time, and should be fairly quick. But if my love isn't back to Trinity in time she could end up moved into a much less pleasant inviroment. :(

Well the fever has broken thank god, and my beloved is doing a bit better today. Yesterday she was so sick I was beside myself with frustration from being unable to help her or even help make her comfortable.
But as I said thank god she's doing a bit better today, and hopefully she won't be in the hospital too long this time.

She will still have to go back to physical rehab after getting out of the hospital. So it's still a matter of waiting, before she'll be able to come home.

But we both look eagerly forward to the time when we'll be home together again. :) it's a painful lesson in patience's for sure.

Well today I was able to give my beloved to printed photos I took for her! :) The funny thing is, that the one I originally picked out to have printed up for her, is the one she likes the best! But I'm just so glad she likes them! :)
I'm still waiting for one more to arrive for my love, and I'm so eager to see her face when she sees it too! It's so rewarding to see my love like something I made for her! :D

Here are the three shots I got printed up for her!

This first one is the one she likes best so far, and the one I picked for her! :D

Thank you very much my friend! What an awesome complement! I'm just thrilled that she loves me back! Lol ;) She's a wonderful woman and the perfect wife for me! :D

Yes I need to get back to using my 105mm micro, so I can get some of the better shots. The 80-400mm is a little over kill for flower shots! Lol But it worked! Lol :)

Thank you buddy, I really like how that one turned out! I was a bit surprised it turned out so well using the 80-400mm lens! Lol :D

All nice work, Bill. Indeed, I like #1 best as well. You're a lucky guy to have such a supportive wife and you obviously reciprocate generously. It'll be great when she's back home and you'll be together again!
