There is an old legend about Spirit Lake, Utah. There was a Native American that drowned herself in the lake and haunts the area still, that is why it is called, Spirit Lake. Although I have never seen a spirit when I have been there. Is there a legend about the Spirit Lake in Florida? My Spirit Lake is 10,200 feet higher in elevation than yours is too

I believe it's the same legend. I'll check with my brother.

love the colors.day 209/365 half of my flower garden. The other half is behind the adirondack chairs. The flowers go down the driveway and around the mailbox.

Thanks Vixen, we built the house 32 years ago, the stonework was something that I wanted, even though it wasn't in style to build that way at the time. The texture of the stones make the house more interesting than just plain old siding or brick, (which is what my neighbors have).

Spirit Lake and the Uintah's is not someplace that you can go without a camera. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Tokina lens too!!!! I got some great shots with that lens and they look fabulous. I guess that I am still in the 365 because of your kindness!!! I am also blessed to have wonderful friends like you two. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!Thanks Chris, I am really pleased with the colors, when I planted them I wasn't sure how they would turn out, but it was my dream to have lots of color to take photo's.
