Yes, retired, preparing for the movers on the 10th, closing on the 11th and departing the 12th.... You are correct, not a lot of time right now!~! :)

Pat in NH (for 4 more days)

Where are you headed? If you move down here, you will be just in time for the HURRICANE SEASON. Let the games begin!

July 9th. I went to visit my grand daughter and had a swim in their pool. Her simple smile made my day.

July 13th,

Who are you, what do you want, seems to ask this little guy feeding under my bird feeder:

July 14th. went for a cycling ride (25Km), had lunch, setup the d7000 with 300 F4 D on a tripod and tried to capture some birds on the feeder. I'm not quite ready to go for birds in flight yet... :)

July 15th. Played with the 35mm Ai lens with a reversing ring on the D7000. Not easy as it looks to focus since the depth of field is SO SO SMALL, but I got a few shots worth sharing. Manual everything.

July 17th, watered the garden and thought about the water weekly... I already had submitted my image so that's all right and I can still play with the weekly subject.

I thought of entering one of these (50mm with reverse ring) into the monthly assignment.

Oops, I forgot to change my "non chipped lens data" so that's why the exif says it's a 35mm f2, but it's the 50 1.8 D reversed.
