Thank you for your kind comment. I think there is only one equation: The more you take, the better you get. Let's just say that I've spent a lot of time behind a camera.

June 18th. This is a picture of a Moon Flower. What's special about this flower is that it only opens at night. So, It opened around 8:30 pm tonight and I got the D700 out and tried to make a shot out of it. The lens used was the 24-120 VR II. I had to use the "mirror up" mode in order to get a decent stable shot hand held.

Great shot @Marcel, and to be honest I never thought about shooting MUP (mirror up) while hand holding. Thanks for that idea

Actually no Ed, it was just taken available light but it was at dusk so there was not much light.
