Greetings All. I am in search of a comfortable and secure shoulder strap for my D7000 and 80-200mm lens. I have come across the Carry Speed FS Pro Camera Sling being sold on Ebay for $140 US and a Youtube review. However, I was wondering whether any of you have first hand experience with this strap and whether your experiences are positive or negative.

I have the FS Pro and I strongly recommend it. Arguably the most comfortable strap in the market today. They are not sold in the USA so getting them from an overseas dealer is the only option.

It is an excellent system. There is some copyright issue currently going on and it's availability is limited (I think it made the bigger boys nervous). I use the pro strap with the newer arca-swiss plate mentioned. I do not have the lens attachment but wish I had bought it at the time.

After reading all the comments in this thread and in prior threads, I decided to pull the trigger on the Carry Speed Pro Camera Sling Strap with F1 Foldable Mounting Plate. it's expected to arrive sometime during the last week of this month. I hope this solves the heave camera lens around the neck issues. Thanks to all for your feedback.

I finally received my Carry Speed FS Pro Camera Strap which also included a wrist strap in addition to the camera body and lens attachments. The strap feels great and an awesome improvement allowing comfort with my 80-200mm lens attached. I do not know how I used the neck strap for so long.

My new Carry Speed strap is awesome and like a dream come true. my camera and lens feel very secure while out shooting with my 80-200mm lens. In addition the strap is very comfortable. I posted a few pics of my D7000 and Carry Speed shoulder strap on my facebook page in the link below.

Nice! I have the previous style without the foldable ball thingy. I LOVE mine. Foldable plate would be nice as mine occasionally makes my camera difficult to put into smaller bags but then its so comfy to carry that I don't often put it in a bag anyway. I find the wrist strap helpful when I'm down low by water, rocks etc. My older style allows me to also keep my tripod mounting plate on and still use the wrist strap. I really have no complaints at all and I've been using it a year now. Your neck will appreciate your switch :)

When I bought mine a a year and a half ago it's came with the old mounting plate. I was actually able to get the foldable plate on ebay, if I remember right.

The great thing about the newer plate is it is an acra-swiss plate built into it, so it can go directly on a compatible tripod with no additional plate added on. Benro makes a line of ball heads that are arca-swiss compatible at a very reasonable price.

I need to begin looking into a Benro ball head that is able to hold a decent amount of weight.
