Thanks Pat and Marilynne, I didn't have my shot of the day and it was getting late so I thought that the roses would be fun. I am loving doing macro photography.

Day 130/365 Mother's Day Rose.

I got a bouquet of roses today for Mother's Day. I also got a Macro Ring Light. (SCORE!!!) However, I need some help, I am having a difficult time getting good focus point when I am using the light. Here are a few shots of my Mother's Day flowers using the Macro Ring Light. Any pointers on how to properly use the light will be great.

Marilynne, thanks for asking about the sprain. It is healing, slowly, but I am still sore, I can't believe that a sprain could be so painful. I so want to feel better so that I can get some shots of this beautiful weather.

Wendy, If it stays sore get it checked out. It's amazing how many sprains are either breaks that have been missed or tendon damage

Thanks Vixen, I have been seeing a doctor because the sprain happened at work, they took ex-ray's and said that it was just a sprain. I am going back tomorrow to have them check out the sprain again. Thanks for the concern and advice.
