Thanks Scott.
Now I must confess that I haven't thought of using anything else for two reasons:
1. In the end I have to settle on one and buying a whole heap of different software to decide which is best is not something I can afford to do and
2. More importantly I hate the learning curve. For some reason my mind is not as flexible and retentive as those brought up with computers so what I learn today will be forgotten by next week and need to be learned all over again until I have done it a thousand times.
Elements 11 seems to be able to do everything I need (for the time being anyway) and I would have thought saving a "watermark" isn't too difficult but this is about the 4th or 5th time it has disappeared on me. Hence why I hate the learning curve … I thought I had done this right only to find a month down the track it has gone "walkabout"!!

Day 126
Another day of getting my photos in early.
Some interesting rain drops on the deck furniture this morning as I was waiting or my coffee machine to warm up.
I just enjoyed the reflection of light that I saw.
Do wish I had a macro lens for these though.
I particularly like the third one with the reflection of the deck railing in the water droplets. Pure fluke of course.

I hear you on hating to learn a new program. There are 50 things I would rather be doing than sitting down and learning new software.
That said.....I use this for watermarks. Quick and easy.

Yeah - I know I "talk" too much so it is nice to hear the odd person "listens" and gets it.
Day 128
Leaps and bounds in improvement with my PP. Very happy with today's photos as I was trying something specific and knew it was possible to get something in post processing - whether I had the ability or not was an entirely different thing.
The first one was the hardest as this is how it looked in real life and out of camera. I am standing on the bridge that replaced the subject bridge and I had to shoot through a security fence.

Thanks Vixen. I like it too and if you could see the "before" shot you would understand. I knew there was something there but creating it without PP for me was impossible. Hence why I am so pleased with it.
Like the bridge and the river the best.I wish that gate wasn't in the woods road shot.It's a great shot too.I just hate gates in my woods.lol
Thanks Joe - that was the gate for the driveway to the entrance of whatever lay beyond and there was a gate on either side. I do have photos of both gates which I will process. I was just so pleased to have got the look I was after that I couldn't wait to post this one. I think I have 3 different shots in total.

All of those are fantastic shots, really great work buddy. Very impressed with the composition on all of them. The second and fourth shots are wall hangers.
Day 129
I spent most of the afternoon photographing an eye! A friend of mine is doing an Iridology course and needs to be able to take a good clear shot of the iris - of course she doesn't quite have the right gear although her camera does have a "macro" setting. Its not too sharp though and in the end I had to tell her she was trying to photograph a very intricate and complex part of the human anatomy with the wrong gear.
However it was interesting and fun and the net result is I have no photos from that seen as it was her camera!
On the way home I spotted these spoonbills (clearly mathematicians they are so perfectly spaced) sitting on a log which resembles a really big crocodile head. I used my 70-300 mmm with my Kenko 1.4X TC with no tripod. Hence not as sharp as I would have liked.
I took a few other photos as well but we have a guest tonight so no time for processing.
Quick edit: Tomorrow's photo will only be posted the next day as I am away for a night. Have a good weekend everyone.
