I was 8 years old in '69. I was born 10 years too late. Would have loved to grown up in that generation.

Give anything to go back in time and see the Monterey pop festival in '67.

All time greats like this only appeared together for 2 years...... 1969 & 1970. I attended both years. The average age of the performers was 56. BB King was a young man and I watched Luther Allison blow him off the stage in a jam. 30 years later, I got to see Luther Allison's son perform. Son House and his wife (both in their 80's at the time) closed the shows both years. About 100,000 in attendance.
