Mad (crazy mad, not angry mad) bald guy with a new piece of equipment here, and on the prowl! Can't wait to delve into the tips and tricks in my new section. ;) 1st victory, discovering how to go from the auto-focus grid to a single AF point. 2nd victory, quick shutter AND aperture control dials without having to press any extra buttons!

I have a feeling this learning curve is gonna be fun...

Lol I feel the same way about my D300! Those command wheels are awesome! I think you'll have a blast exploring your D7100! Lol :D

Delighted for you. You seem to have been wanting to upgrade from your d3100 for a while.

Stil, ill getting to grips with mine but already I'm finding it a fantastic camera.

Grrrr... just spent the last 15 minutes of my lunch typing up all the joy I experienced testing during the 1st 45 mins of my lunch, and got a "server hangup". Guess I'll chatter about it later as work is calling again. :cool:

I love mine, though I'm still learning from it...I'm eager to see what your initial thoughts are...
