117 is a wall hanger. I really, really love it. The composition and colors are great! Only thing I can say is there is some very noticeable chromatic aberration near the top of the door. Other than that, awesome!

You would think taking a shot of a burning match would be simple. Not for me....I took heaps of shots before I got 1 worthy
Vixen, I absolutely love getting behind in your thread. Playing catch up is so much fun. Very wonderful shots! Really enjoyed the glimpse into your world.
not to take away from the old cars, but what a sky in the background, nice

Have to say I have exactly the same sentiments.
Vixen that is a beautiful photo.
Its often good not to have all your gear so that you adapt with, and to, what you've got. You certainly did well here.
Should have thrown a lens hood in though![]()
Always use your lens hood outside in the sun, plus it helps protect the front of the lens. When you're not using it, turn it around on the front of the camera so it won't take up extra room if you're limited for space in your bag.
To be honest I never use the lens hood because it is just too difficult to turn the polariser filter and take off/replace the lens cap. I shield any excess sun with my hat or hand if I can but it wasn't enough in this shot and so I thought it was the ideal time to have had the lens hood onI always have them with me if I take my backpack with all my gear but hardly ever get them out.
