Great funeral shots. My one aunt brought a camera to my grandfather's funeral (186 descendants or family in attendance) and everyone thought she was a bit weird but they all wanted copies of the photos.

Sorry to hear puppy is still not 100%

Happy to hear that your first lessons went well - I am sure your pupils will be superstars in no time at all.

Keep them coming.

Day 87, someones about to pop :)

Day 89 - really happy about this first one. It was a beautiful scenery and a 7,5 km long trip, those dogs wear me out, lol.. (No, wasn't supposed to be that long, I took the wrong turn. Again.)

I like this one too, specially the sun beams. But what and why does the trees (right side) get this lighter tone above them? Is it just bright sky..?

Great shots, I find that over editing can sometimes create this line that you are seeing and it is more noticeable in HDR shots. I find reducing the editing slightly can remove this.

It isn't that hard edited, and more or less the same as the others. I am thinking maybe I upped the shadows?
These are also from yesterday and still same edits.

Sometimes I will get that when upping shadows too much. It can create a line or even a halo effect. I usually bump exposure and then drop the other levels it will mitigate the effect some.

Day 90, fresh from our garden. We had hail today, a little unexpected, I was hoping for a sunset.

They wanted all 40 shots from the funeral (those I selected out) so that was great :)

Day 91, dog was so happy with his huge bone, he wanted to sleep with it in the garden lol.

See Mai, you have a whole new gig. Photographing funerals. There might be more demand for that than you might imagine.

Not sure if I'll advertise for it..? But I would do it again if asked, if course.

I had a 500 page likes contest on Facebook, winner got a free shoot, and it turns out to be a dog who is only 2 years old but don't have a long time back due to illness - oh man, I am not sure how to get through that shoot without crying :/

Day 93, just a mobile shot.

And a picture of a picture I made, ready for hanging at the owners place:

Puppy had another seizure, I've been a little resignedly but now we have a plan about further tests we can do/try out, that helps a little.

On the bright side, I read they are "pacing" a lot afterwards because of drop in blood sugar, so I gave a little honey right after his attack and it really helped, he was himself much faster (other times it's been like an hour before he started to calm more down (he is just walking back and forth trough the house and garden like he cannot find rest)).
Haagen Daz vanilla ice cream should be even better so picking on up today of course.

Some Dogs are lactose intolerant so shouldn't be given dairy products ;)

No they are not. But as humans, they need to get it once in a while to get anything out of it and mine have gotten a dairy product since puppy's for their stomach (once in a while).

Yeah I changed it to 'some dogs' lol but you are right in moderation is ok.

Yes and it's only a teaspoon ice cream - and it's Haagen Daz because it's pretty clean for stuff dogs don't tolerate so well.
