This lady was dressed more in a pirate theme than in a Scottish one, but oh well... She was posing for someone else, and I had a quick opportunity, but was set with a small aperture that I didn't change, but should have to throw the background out of focus. I may attempt to do so later in Photoshop.

I don't see a pic for March 7.

Pirate lady is killer. I always love the ninjas that walk around our local Renaissance Festival.

Thank you; I didn't notice that for March 7th. I'll attempt a repost, as it took me several attempts to get the March 8th photos posted. Log-In to the site is also giving me fits. :p

PS, I should be taken care of now.

And what is it?

Part of my car's left rear wheel...

I've just started re-reading Freeman Patterson's "Photography and the Art of Seeing", which I've had a copy of for nearly thirty years. It's convinced me to start looking at things very intently for other ways to shoot them.

Thank you, Don. I was disappointed with it and almost didn't post it. It was shot at 1/500 and should have been at 1/750 or 1/1000 to avoid motion blur.

There was plenty of light to do so, but I had to turn it into a "learning experience"! ;)
