I do a lot of glam/bikini work and just thought I would see if any one has any feed back good or bad. both welcomed, but mainly I just wanted to share.
It is one of those composition guidelines. Leading lines. The arms form leading lines and the lead you right off the photos and never come back.
Yes the girl is hot but you are in charge of not taking anything away from people enjoying the photos. How many times do you see cute baby pictures on Facebook where the baby is cute but the picture is just horrible. Everyone still says what a cute baby and clicks the like button. But all you can see is an awful photograph. We have to strive on not giving anyone a reason to see anything other than the hot girl. Our hard work and knowledge should be invisible to anyone other than another photographer.
valid points. Your feed back is noted and thats why I shared them. Love it when stuff like that gets pointed out. I will keep an eye out for better composition. thanks.
with time and how you build your network and most importantly DON'T BE A CREEP ABOUT IT, but mostly with time. Everyday I learn something new. Like NO CHOPPED OFF ELBOWS. hahaha
Don't get me wrong. other than that the photos are fantastic. Lighting, posing all are great. I have found over the years and especially now that we have great cameras that I can shoot a little loose and then crop to suit in post. I have rather do that than lose an elbow.
Congrats for the Candy Blue Eyes! These days it's rather hard to find a nice looking (lady) model who does not have (or at least, does not expose) the ugly thing(s) called tattoos and body piercings (especially the belly button)...
ELBOWS< ELBOWS. You guys are grousing about elbows? You young whippersnappers need to get a grip.
It's obvious to me what is wrong with those photos; the models were simply overdressed.:topsy_turvy:
