I go to Lowes on the way to work to get a key made. While there I see this neat looking bluetooth speaker sitting there calling me. I whip out my phone to do a quick review check on it and it has great reviews. Oh well, a 2.00 visit turned into 32.00 It does sound pretty darn good. Not a Bose by all means. But I'll use it on trips.

Does it sync with the phone pretty good?

My BosStrap Bos Tail came. The instruction state it's rated for 60 pounds. It probably is. Though I'll never get near that sort of weight. The quality looks very good and if anyone was wondering the attachment ring for the BR strap is not a split ring. It appears to be a solid ring. I found no weld marks to show otherwise. I am going to add a few stitches to the extra strap past the buckle for added insurance that it won't slip out of the buckle. Once I do that I'll be comfortable using it. Maybe this is the norm with straps. But with this company claiming no warranty or backing on their products makes me slightly disconcerted. I also like that I can leave my quick connects for my Op/tech neck strap on the camera. I still prefer neck straps in crowded areas. And Op/tech makes pretty comfy straps.

Re: Weebee's 365 thread

I have enjoyed my Bos Tail.

I also always sew the ends of the straps where the overlap is. First I like the extra insurance it gives me that it will not slip and also it looks better not flopping around.

I'm glad others do that as well. Thanks Don

Especially with these types of straps it takes a day or so of shooting to get the length just right so you hand finds the camera at the perfect place. Once you get that you really don't want it to move. Or at least I don't. I occasionally hand my camera of to my wife to hold while I take care of other business and she will shoot it. She hates this strap so I don't want her to play with it to make it few her.

I was thinking that. Right now any outdoor shooting requires a heavy coat. So I adjusted my BR strap for this and I'll keep the Bostail at a set length. I should be able to shorten the BR for summer use with no problem.

i have one heavy coat. I have not had to wear it in two years. The heaviest coat that I normally wear is my Tac 5.11 coat. It can get heavy depending on what I have in the pockets.

When I retire I'm moving to Florida. Then I can rub it in! That coat is designed for CC, right? I've seen them once.

Yes to CC. It does a very good job of it too. Pockets can open up in places that you would never suspect and a 9mm can be in there. Another hidden pocket can hold the spare magazines. I can get heavy but with the inserts it has there is no printing.
