Sadly it is where it was built to be. They just used one in my area to clear some local woods for development.

I know what you mean Doug I just wasn't expecting to see it.... It was quite well hidden from the footpath for a huge yellow thing!

At least this one is in a managed forest, they are just clearing space for new growth.

How about a circa 1980 Pettibone log loader? I sometimes have to dispose of machinery in my work. I had this one cut up for scrap with the knowledge that it was an obsolete heap, flat tire and all. It went to the big steel recycler in the sky last month.
