It's a really nice shot Chris. I really like the effect created with the 3 combined exposures. It gives life to an otherwise static shot.

That would be a yes. I kept the camera a dry as possible, but I got pretty soaked. Quite the lightning storm developed...

Decided to undertake this weeks challenge in a local watering hole. The Owner's are new so I gave it a whirl. Though I got to know them and interview them, not a one of them wanted their photo taken. I even asked the dishwasher and cook, to no avail.

Better luck tomorrow. At least the bottles let me photograph them....

I think that black and white goes very well with the kind of clouds we seem to be getting ALL THE TIME !!!
It'll be nice to see the sun in the next century. I'm almost afraid my sensor gets a sunburn.

No filter. It is an HDR with shots with PP by Photomatix Pro, with the "Painterly" effect. On my monitor at work it looks overly blue. On the monitor at my home the blue sky is not quite as exaggerated (though I have spent a pretty penny to have my monitor's calibrated).
