This was a picture that I had to do in Manual focus because I was shooting through a class picture window at the top of the museum. Not too bad for my first manual focus picture.

Day 33 - Mikala

Today, I thought I work with action shots. So I had my daughter help me out with the photo's today. Since, my husband already threatened the child. I told her I would not do her laundry and she would have to wash the whole families laundry, fold it, and put it away if she did not help.

This is a picture of my baby boy. He has grown up so much. He used to be one of those punk longer haired skater dudes and thought he was so cool with his pants hanging off his bum when he was a teenager. I can't believe how much he has grown up and change over the last year and half, since he graduated. I am very proud of him. He just got hired on at ATK working with composites building airplane. Making 13 per hour and full benefits. Not bad for a 19 year old kid. He graduated with his welding certificate in September. He is know going for his advanced welding, machinist, and composites certificates and he is doing it all on scholarships. I can't believe how well he has turned out.

I shot this picture for two reason.

One my husband dislike sponge bob. This one is for you, babe!!

Two, I can't believe this is in focus. Do you know how hard it is to take a picture of a balloon that wants to keep moving.

So I told the wife that picture is really sharp and asked what she did. She said she is learning. So I asked again what she did? Her answer, "I prayed." I am glad she has developed her own technique no matter how unorthodoxed.
