Our Grandson stayed with us last night and helped make Apple Dumplings. He wanted his pictures so he could show Mommy and Daddy what he did. Good time to make a collage.

Thanks Don. I hope he does.

He will. i have been going through all my mom's old photos and sorting them out. Keeping the ones where I knew who the people were and throwing away the other. I found my very first Selfie shot. My dad gave me an old German WWII era folding 620 film camera and I rigged up a string and took a picture of myself.

Seeing himself sitting on the counter helping will be nice. The only thing that would be better for him would be having his grandmother or grandfather in the shot with him.

@Alan, how far are you from Scranton? Does PA usually get this much snow?

I am about 150 miles SW down Interstate 81. We have actually had more snow than they have this year. This is more than normal but not records yet but more is on it's way later this week. Up around Lake Erie they get a lot more snow, mostly lake effect. The ski slopes around here are loving it this year, in fact one needed a photographer a couple weeks ago but it was only going to be +10 that day and my old bones could not handle 5 hours on the slopes in that temp.

Scranton is in the mountains and has a lot of great places to visit. Many state parks and game lands to hike and fish. My in-laws used to live in that area years ago.

Heard this Tufted Titmouse singing away late this afternoon. Finally spotted him about 50 ft up in the tree. Guess he was happy that it quit snowing.

Sunrise from my back window. The calm before the storm....Had 7 inches of snow yesterday, 2-4 coming tonight followed by up to 1/2 inch of ice. Don't even want to think about the possible storm Saturday night.
