Bit soggy here today as well Scott. We copped the edge of cyclone Dylan as it travelled inland after hitting the coast this morning, we got just over 200mm last night and this morning, filled the creek just nicely.
I was actually wondering how you guys faired with it. Hopefully you got some photos ;-)

We were on the southern side of its path, so we got the rain but very little damage from the wind, just a few branches down.
I will watch the local news tonight to see how the towns and communities to the north faired. It was only a Cat 2, so I don't expect to see too much destruction.
I left home for work at 3am this morning, because I was driving through flooded creeks etc. I decided to leave the camera at home.

Your making me feel bad now , so I am going to walk down to the creek and take a few photos (I am at home now )
I will post them in my "Plod" thread in a little while.:)

This is the weather we are having. Green is rain and goes through to yellow and red, red being very heavy.

Our rain has gone for now, hopefully the remnants of the cyclone give western Qld a good bit of rain, they really need it out there.

A bloke from out west who owns a cattle station was telling me a couple of weeks ago that he couldn't afford to keep buying feed for his cattle. He rang everyone he knows and told them to bring their trucks and take as many as they wanted, he kept about 35 head of his best breeders. He said it was cheaper and less heartbreaking to give them away than to shoot them.
