Composition - Good or bad? Thoughts?

I was editing the photos from my first ever wedding shoot. This picture here I at first passed over. Then I went back again and decided to crop it to place them more in the center of the shot. As soon as i did that I realized I kind of like it the way it is.

What does everyone think about the composition of this shot? I cant for the life of me imagine what i was thinking at the time or what it was they were looking at.

This photo is unedited other then converting to jpeg to post.(I shoot raw only)

They need to be located to the left of center looking into the photo. As you have them they are looking out of your photo. Makes it uncomfortable.

The background panel is awkward and distracting.

You are right!
I should never have second guessed my first instinct and let it hit the floor. lol
Thanks for the quick input.

I also have to agree. The guy looks like he is getting smashed out of the frame. For some reason the fact that only he is getting cropped seems to bug me.

First of all, you chopped off the top of their heads. Secondly, they are looking to the viewer's right. With them positioned where they are in this image, that draws the viewers eyes out of the frame. They should be positioned on the left side of the frame so their gaze takes you into rather than out of, the frame.
