Saw two gators yesterday. One kinda near, the other so far it was not worth trying to shoot.

Marilynne,

Nice shots. I think you should be called "'Gator Girl." :) I am so glad we don't have reptiles like that up here where we have "real winter." :)

Thanks Barb for my new name. Her babies weren't with her on this day. I was told she had six or seven with her the day before. We don't go as often now that it's the "season". Way to many tourists and snow birds.

We pedaled down a canal bank yesterday behind Wakodahatchee and this is a view of the overflow parking lot. 10 shots handheld.

Then decided not to stay

Never can get these shots in focus unless it's just a head or a tail or a wing

I feel your pain. I have the same problem in the summer here. I have to drive through Hershey everyday and in the summer the tourist are everywhere, making left turns from the right lane, crossing the street in the middle of the block etc. You can send my birds back but keep the rest:)

Somehow I don't think the black Pioneer thingy was original back in the day

That's a pain. It happened to me once and I didn't enjoy the feel.

He wasn't happy, but he's been complaining something was wrong with the chain since he upped the gears. Bike shop added a link or two but that didn't solve the problem. Now that it's fixed, everything is working to his satisfaction.

Is that a lit candle underneath the gearshift lever? It looks like something is hanging down and is about to catch on fire.

I like the mix of modern and vintage on the dash, though I'm not sure what, if anything, is really "vintage." That is some sweet ride!
