Just Messing Around!

I have the D3100. That is one of the in-camera effects. I can choose either 4, 6 or 8 point and choose how many and what length the rays are.

Thanks Pete. I decided to practice what I preach and RTFM. Lo & Behold, there it is on page 135 of the D60 manual. Cross Filtering. Once I get my thumb in order, I'll try and get some shots to play with.

I really like this camera! :)
The 3100 is a great camera, but you have a great eye and that's important too.

I liked the part where Mothra ripped its way out of the cocoon

Here is a mistake I made when we were in Arkansas last month. Wasn't sure what happened but recently learned that if you zoom out when the shutter is open it will create a kaleidoscope affect which is what I must have done. To bad the focus wasn't better.

I did this with a tree not too long ago, there is a bit of focus in the center. Still makes me nauseous to look at it.

I remember well the LSD days and Inna-Gadda-Da-Vida! I had a band back then, and I could play that whole drum solo. Still one of the best drum solos ever, in my opinion. I wish I still had my drums. I miss those days. :)

This is a picture of a Red Flower That was at Tryon Palace. In the spirit of "messin' around" I tried this...

I thought that looked pretty cool! But I was curious about that center...

You never can tell what you'll find until you start looking for it.

Y'all can mess around too!

Enjoy

All that talk about the 60s have brought back memories for me.

In that set of mind, here's a psychedelic one for you all.
