The first time I went on it I had a Olympus digital camera with a honking huge underwater housing on it. Boy did I get stared at! But after it was over more then a few asked where I got it and how much it cost!

Hard to get the entire 252 Foot boat length in a photograph, so here's a moody photograph of the conning tower of the German U-Boat U-505 berthed underground at the Museum of Science & Industry in Chicago, IL. The submarine was captured by U.S. Navy on June 4, 1944. Taken by my wife with her Nikon Coolpix P100.
