Been playing around with my new photo box. It helps so much on taking macro photos.

If you are doing insects its a taste thing to keep some colour in the background as if you photograph at night we use small printed screens for the extra colour. Otherwise its black and textureless which gives a laboratory feel.

I bought this off E-bay. It's pretty neat actually. It goes together in just a few minutes. It came with 4 different colored backgrounds, 2 spot lights, and a decent mini tripod. It works great for cutting any reflection while taking macro shots.

Understand that completely, just my preference for a still life against a black background
