It's gonna be a while before I really take it out for a test drive. Weather here is crap, and I not only have CEUs to take tomorrow, I'm trying to get to Texas for the holiday. So Monday would be the earliest.

But I did take it along when I went for dinner tonight.

Got my Bowers battery grip yesterday.I like how it adds more room for your hands. Plus this one has the wireless shutter release feature which will come in handy for night and macro shots.

Not a purchase yet... But Xmas (mom and wife) brought in enough funds to order a speed flash! SB700 will be ordered soon, then it's all saving for the D7000/7100!

No photos, but I upgraded my two most-used filter adapters from the cheap aluminum ones I've been using to a pair of Heliopan adonized brass versions. 58-77 step up as well as a 52-77 step up. (Heliopan Nos. 145 and 147)

Never had any problems with the old ones, but as long as I have the funds and am constantly wanting to upgrade my gear, I thought I'd upgrade the adapters before I had an issue with the old ones.

So I told 'em I want all 20 printed. They screwed two up, and missed a third. The other day, I finally got the last 3 finished.
